KARA LODEWYKS

Owner of Shore Club Wellness, CPT

As a resident of the South Beach Community for over 8 years, Kara's passion to start Shore Club Wellness was solely to enhance the resident living experience and increase the value and worth of her home as an owner here. As the business has evolved over the past 2.5 years, some incredible changes have taken place which has now brought the mission of Shore Club Wellness to existing to connect people to their best selves.

Kara has been a Certified Personal Trainer for over 12 years and has successfully owned and run a Master Franchise in the fitness industry before taking Shore Club Wellness on full time. Kara has worked with a broad range of clientele including children and adolescents to seniors, busy professionals, and new moms. You name it, she's trained it. Kara is proud of the incredible team she's build at the Shore Club whose staff perfectly rounds out the holistic approach to health and longevity.

AMANDA RODGERS

Registered Massage Therapist

​

Amanda Rodgers, RMT, combines stretching, deep tissue and trigger point techniques in all of her treatments. She believes in collaborative care with the client, to restore function and mobility.

​

Amanda's physical therapy practice is strongly influenced by looking at the body as one whole unit. It means more to her than noticing how one body part aligns or misaligns with the rest. It is mindfully assessing all the many details of your current situation, certain pain points, and designing a treatment plan that meets you where you are. Amanda has a passion for working through goals with clients, whether that is recovering from acute or chronic pain, a sports-related injury, neurological pathologies; or postural imbalances.

Amanda's aim is to help each person achieve their greatest potential for function, health and wellness using body awareness education. Her style of massage combines stretching, deep tissue and trigger point techniques. A variety of assessment tools, stretching, massage techniques and custom treatment plans are used to assist in achieving treatment goals.

ALYSSA FAIOLA

Certified Personal Trainer​

​

Alyssa Faiola is a Personal Trainer with a passion for all things fitness with her primary focus being on strength training and functional movements that translate outside the gym. Alyssa grew up playing sports and was active throughout her adolescent years engaging in competitive dance and rep soccer. After graduating from the University of
Western Ontario with a degree in Criminology, Alyssa found herself craving a sense of routine where physical activity could be used as an outlet to decompress from the stresses of everyday life. After joining her local gym, Alyssa found herself without a plan and not knowing how to use the equipment and machines available to her. Alyssa signed up for small group training, specifically aimed at exposing women of all ages to
strength training and the benefits of this type of movement.

 

Alyssa has been consistently engaged in this training style since 2016 and in 2020, found herself wanting to share her passion for fitness with others. Alyssa obtained a Group Fitness Instructor Certification and facilitated workouts both online and in person. She has recently transitioned into focusing her efforts on Personal Training and is excited to engage with residents of South Beach who are looking to start their fitness journey or elevate their current exercise routine. Alyssa is especially passionate about motivating and encouraging women to embrace their strongest version of themselves by not shying away from equipment and forms of
movement typically associated with male body building.

LAUREN COSTESCU

Registered Massage Therapist, Fascial Stretch Therapist​

​

Lauren is a registered massage therapist and fascial stretch therapist with over 12 years of experience in sports rehabilitation and manual therapy. She studied kinesiology and education at Western University where she specialized in athletic therapy and rehabilitation as well as physical education. 

​

She has worked with amateur and professional athletes recovering from traumatic injuries and surgeries of the shoulder, elbow and knee, with extensive experience in post operative ACL reconstruction rehabilitation, return to play assessment and injury prevention. 

​

Lauren's practice now focuses on helping her clients feel better and move better by blending a variety of techniques into her treatments, including relaxing swedish massage, trigger point therapy, deep tissue treatment and fascial stretching. Her specialties include treating postural dysfunctions, neck pain, low back pain and improving overall mobility and flexibility. Lauren curates her treatments to her clients' individual needs and her goal is to help you relax and decompress while melting away your aches and pains.

MAGGIE TULECKA

Certified Personal Trainer​

​

Maggie has been helping people reach their fitness goals for years and operates under the pretext that fitness is a piece of the puzzle – you also need balanced nutrition and most importantly a healthy mindset. If you don’t have the right mindset, then your gains may only be temporary and working on that mindset is something Maggie incorporates into her training with clients. It’s about being consistent and showing up when you say you’re going to – not for anyone else but for yourself.

​

Maggie is known for getting results from her clients. From dramatic weight loss transformations to shedding those last few pounds, Maggie knows what it takes to motivate, and stay accountable to her clients success to drive and deliver on results.

 

Maggie has experience working around client injuries  and health conditions, helping them meet their individual goals. She believes that nothing is impossible with the proper training and nutrition plan and a disciplined mindset. 

 

Maggie keeps her skills sharpened by attending various fitness conferences and is currently being certified as a nutrition coach. She has also taught strength training and boot camp fitness classes. 

 

If you're looking for a trainer to keep you motivated and accountable, while also participating in safe and enjoyable workouts, then Maggie's your trainer.
